I made a presentation for the Space Tourism Society called the 2050 plan which discusses the technologies needed to make living in space easier. Examples include: Interplanetary Internet (thanks to Vint Cerf), Orbital refueling stations, hospitals, hotels, mining robots, and more! It's all together in a master plan for settling the solar system!

Re: MoonPie Contest

I'm Mike Fabio, and I approve this message.

Re: MoonPie Contest

I'd be willing to bet we're going to need a roll of paper towels...

Re: A passel of new sponsors

Well done. The goal is to help students form teams to enter the challenges and competitions that have become so popular in the space community. We'll work with local schools, funding organizations, STEM education resources, and space companies to support the teams.
I'd like to have an open session about previous attempts at the same thing (successful or not), ideas for resources, and tips for getting the project off the ground. Locals who are interested in participating should also stop by.

Re: Session Proposals

You can see what organizations attendees are from by going to Guestlist (http://guestlistapp.com/eve....

Re: Discuss

I do not know them, but would be interested to hear their thoughts for sure!

Re: Session Proposals

In line with the Open Government Directive ( http://www.nasa.gov/open/ ) I think that we should have at least one session on how can NASA engage the public by sharing data, information, and knowledge in new and exciting ways.
